It seems to mean big in a literal sense= lots of characters, much movement and action. What about Big Scene as an important scene, one that could happen between two characters? I think I&amp;#39;m quoting Sandra Scofield&amp;#39;s Scene Book here (at least that&amp;#39;s what my notes claim!) when she suggests two approaches to a big scene (one being the multi-focus, many character variety): &lt;br /&gt; &amp;quot;Small focus. Focus on the emotional reaction of the POV character, or the interaction between two main characters. Essentially, this is a small scene within a big setting.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I hope I&amp;#39;m not misquoting! I don&amp;#39;t have the book with me. But I know you can pack a lot of emotional wallop with exchanges between two characters, in a small setting. Do you think of that as a Big Scene?
